Toei Animation Phils., Inc. is a 100 % subsidiary of Toei Animation Co. Ltd.-Japan.

It was established in November 17, 1986 as one of the departments of Industrial Training Corp. of Asia which was then the training arm of Engineering Equipment Inc,. now known as EEI Corp.

It was incorporated in April 4, 1992 as a joint venture between EEI Corp. and Toei Animation Co. Ltd. under the name EEI-Toei Animation Corp. In 1998 it became a subsidiary of Toei Animation Co. Ltd . In 2000, the name was changed to TOEI ANIMATION PHILS., INC.

In 1997, the company started digitalization of its Ink and Paint process. At present, the company is employing the digital process except for its key animation. It employs 150 regular employees and about 100 freelancers

Presently, the company is a full capacity 2D animation studio. Preparations are underway for the setting –up of a 3D section within the year.
