| TOEInty Kids Anime Cosplay Contest Mechanics
- The Cosplay contest would be a group cosplay presentation (not just costume) contest. There would be finalist slots for ten (10) groups, each group should be composed of minimum of three (3) individuals. There is no maximum limit to the number of members per group. Each Cosplay group will be given minimum of three (3) and maximum of five (5) minutes to perform their presentation. Group presentations are not limited to skits.
- All characters being portrayed by all participating groups should only come from the following:
- Animation shows fully produced or 100% made by TOEI.
- Non-Animation shows fully produced or 100% made by TOEI.
A list of TOEI shows for your reference will be provided in the ACPI website.
- Participating groups with members portraying characters from different TOEI shows/series (mixed characters group) are allowed.
- Cosplay groups are required to pre-register before the event. To download the pre-registration form, please visit www.animationcouncil.org. The deadline for the pre-registration is October 21, 2006. Walk-in groups are NOT allowed in the contest.
The following information will be included in the pre-registration form:
- Group Name
- Real Name* (firstname lastname)/Gender/Age of each member
- Email Address/contact information of contact person(s) in the group
- Characters to cosplay. (Please include the TOEI show/series where the characters being cosplayed belong)
*Not giving the real names of each group member is grounds for disqualification.
- Cosplay contestants should be 15 years of age and below. They must be prepared to be in costume for hours.
- Costumes must not be gory, messy or obstructive to the flow of people in the event. Real weapons and exploding, breaking or harmful props are not allowed.
- If there are more than ten (10) pre-registered groups, there would be a prescreening on November 4, 2006 in Eastwood Quezon City. Prescreening will require all cosplay contestants to be in full costume and prepared to perform their complete presentation. Judges would select the top 10 best cosplay groups that would compete in the final contest on November 18, 2006.
- All cosplay group finalists are encouraged to remain in the Eastwood Area at least one (1) hour before the start of the Cosplay contest. All cosplay contestants must be near the Eastwood Tent at least twenty (20) minutes before the start of the cosplay contest.
- The judges' decision is final and cannot be appealed.
- Cosplay prizes are as follows:
- First Prize – Php 5,000.00
- Second Prize – Php 3,000.00
- Third Prize – Php 2,000.00
- Criteria for Judging are as follows:
- Attire (Accuracy, Craftsmanship, Creativity) - 40%
- Stage Performance (Stage Presence, Projection) - 30%
- Dialogue (In-Character Dialogue, Delivery) - 20%
- Audience Impact - 10%
